We want you to feel confident shopping with MyKindOfHue LLC. This Refunds & Returns Policy outlines how returns, exchanges, and refunds are handled for purchases made through our website. By purchasing from our store, you agree to this policy and our Terms of Service.

1. Return Window and Eligibility

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery for most home and lifestyle products. To be eligible for a return, your item must be:

  • In the same condition you received it — unused, unwashed, and free from damage.
  • In its original packaging with tags and proof of purchase (order number or receipt).

Please note: Personalized or custom-made items, gift cards, and digital downloads are non-returnable. Returns received without prior authorization will not be accepted.

2. How to Start a Return

To request a return, contact us at team@thecrownedroot.com. We'll provide the return address and instructions within two business days. Please do not send items back without contacting us first. If your return is approved, you'll receive guidance on how and where to send your package.

3. Return Shipping Costs

Unless an item arrives damaged or defective, customers are responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as MyKindOfHue LLC is not responsible for items lost in transit. If your product was damaged, incorrect, or faulty, please contact us at team@thecrownedroot.com with your order number and photos of the issue so we can make it right.

4. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we'll notify you whether your refund has been approved. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note: Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since approval, please contact us at team@thecrownedroot.com.

5. Exchanges

We do not process direct exchanges. If you would like a different item, please return the original following the steps above and then place a new order once your refund is confirmed.

6. Damaged or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery. If an item is damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us right away at team@thecrownedroot.com so that we can evaluate and resolve the issue quickly. We may ask for photos or a brief description of the issue to help our support team provide the fastest resolution.

7. International Orders

We ship both within the United States and internationally. International customers are responsible for:

  • Customs duties, import taxes, or brokerage fees applied by their destination country.
  • Return shipping costs, including any applicable customs charges for returns.

We are unable to refund customs fees or import taxes paid to your local government.

8. Product Warranty and Quality

We stand behind the quality of our home and lifestyle products. If you experience a manufacturing defect within six (6) months of purchase, contact team@thecrownedroot.com with proof of purchase and details of the issue. This limited warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear, color variation, or minor fabric imperfections.
  • Damage caused by misuse, improper care, or accidents.

9. Additional Information

  • Refunds will not include original shipping fees.
  • Items marked final sale or non-returnable are not eligible for refund or exchange.
